The setup flow is designed for professional operators — whether you manage 5 homes or 5,000 — and you can be creating RentLinks the same day your account is verified. This guide walks you through every step from sign-up to your first reconciled payment.

Get up and running

Request access

Visit op.casapay.com and submit your operator access request. Tell CasaPay about your portfolio size, operator type (letting agent, property manager, BTR, PBSA, co-living, and others), and the workflow you want to improve first. The team will confirm your access and next steps.

Set up your account

Once access is confirmed, log in at op.casapay.com and complete your operator profile. Add your company details, verify your identity, and configure your first property. Verification is required before you can send live RentLinks to tenants.

Create your first RentLink

Create a payment request for a specific tenant, home, and rent obligation. Choose the creation method that fits your workflow — Portal entry, Assisted no-code, or API/Embedded (see below). Add the rent amount, due date, and any deposit context before sending.

Send to your tenant

The tenant receives a ready-to-pay link with the full rental context attached — their name, the property, the amount due, and the due date. They can pay by bank transfer (open banking), card (Visa, Mastercard), or digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay) from their CasaPay tenant account.

Track and reconcile

Monitor payment status in real time from your operator dashboard. Every payment is tied to the correct tenant and home, so reconciliation happens automatically alongside the payment — not as a separate task afterwards.

Create in the Operator PortalEnter the rent request directly in your CasaPay dashboard, generate the RentLink, and send the tenant flow — no external system required. The best starting point for most operators.

Assisted no-code

Create from your existing workflowUse an assisted route to feed RentLinks from your existing PMS, accounting platform, inbox, or document workflow — without building a full integration. Ideal when you are not ready for an API connection.

API / Embedded

Embed RentLink directlyCreate and manage RentLinks programmatically from your own product or operating stack using the CasaPay API. The right choice for operators with technical teams or existing platform integrations.

Invite tenants to CasaPay

Every tenant who pays through CasaPay needs a free tenant account. Direct them to tnt.casapay.com/register to sign up. Registration is free and takes only a few minutes — tenants verify their identity, set up their payment methods, and they are ready to receive and pay their first RentLink.
Tenants on the free Starter plan get a verified CasaPay ID, a reusable profile, deposit escrow, a wallet with card and open banking support, and Apple Pay/Google Pay. Eligible tenants can upgrade to CasaPay Plus for no-deposit move-ins and more.

Frequently asked questions

CasaPay is designed for professional rental operators managing multiple homes. Eligible operator types include letting agents, property managers, build-to-rent (BTR) operators, purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) operators, co-living operators, institutional landlords, and other professional rental businesses. Availability and onboarding terms may vary by location and portfolio type.
Once your account is set up and your identity is verified, you can create RentLinks immediately. The onboarding process is designed to be straightforward — most operators are ready to send their first payment request the same day their account is confirmed.
Yes. Tenants sign up free at tnt.casapay.com/register. A CasaPay tenant account is required to receive and pay a RentLink. The free Starter plan includes everything a tenant needs to pay rent — verified identity, a wallet, and multiple payment methods.
Yes. CasaPay supports connections to property-management and accounting platforms — including Xero and QuickBooks — via integrations and API. If your platform is not yet listed, contact support@casapay.com or explore the Platform Partners route to discuss an integration.
