What it means for your operation
Reduce the upfront barrier
Offer an eligible no-deposit or reduced move-in cost option to suitable tenants — without redesigning your entire rental journey or renegotiating every landlord agreement.
Support conversion
Help suitable tenants continue when timing — not monthly affordability — is the source of move-in friction. Deposit timing can be the difference between a completed tenancy and a lost lead.
Keep context connected
The approved protection option stays linked to the tenant, home, operator, and underlying rent payment flow. Nothing is orphaned in a separate system.
How it works
1
Connect the tenancy
Create or confirm the eligible rental obligation and move-in payment context in CasaPay. This links the right tenant, home, and rent obligation before any option is presented.
2
CasaPay checks eligibility
CasaPay determines whether a CasaPay Plus option can be presented for that specific tenant and home. Eligibility depends on the tenant, property, market, rental terms, and your approved CasaPay setup.
3
Tenant reviews and opts in
Where eligible, the tenant sees the available option and applicable terms during the CasaPay payment or move-in flow. The choice belongs to the tenant — they review and opt in before anything is confirmed.
4
Move-in and protection records stay connected
Once the tenant completes their move-in, the resulting payment and protection records stay tied to the rental journey — visible to you as the operator and connected to the rent collection flow.
CasaPay Plus is a tenant product. The cost is borne by the tenant — from €10/month or 2% of the deposit — not the operator. You make the option available; the tenant decides whether to use it.
Frequently asked questions
Is CasaPay Plus available for every tenant and home?
Is CasaPay Plus available for every tenant and home?
No. Availability depends on the tenant, property, market, rental terms, and your approved CasaPay setup. CasaPay determines eligibility for each individual tenant and home combination — you cannot guarantee it will be available for every move-in.
Does the operator decide which homes can use CasaPay Plus?
Does the operator decide which homes can use CasaPay Plus?
Your operator setup defines the participating rental journey and the property context within which CasaPay Plus can appear. However, individual eligibility and the specific option shown to each tenant remain subject to CasaPay’s criteria and applicable terms — the operator setup enables the journey, not the eligibility outcome.
Does CasaPay Plus replace rent collection?
Does CasaPay Plus replace rent collection?
No. CasaPay RentLink handles the rent collection side of the tenancy. CasaPay Plus is a move-in layer for eligible journeys — it addresses the upfront cost barrier, not the ongoing monthly payment flow.
How is CasaPay Plus shown to tenants?
How is CasaPay Plus shown to tenants?
Where available, the tenant can review and opt in to CasaPay Plus during the CasaPay payment or move-in flow. The option appears at the relevant point in the journey — tenants are not required to seek it out separately.
