Transitioning Current Tenants to CasaPay

Step 1: Prepare Your Data Download the CSV template from operator portal and include:

  • Tenant names and contact information

  • Current property addresses and lease terms

  • Monthly rent amounts and lease dates

  • Existing security deposit amounts

  • Any special arrangements or notes

Step 2: Bulk Import Process

  1. Go to "Import Tenants" in operator portal

  2. Upload your completed CSV file

  3. Review imported data for accuracy

  4. Confirm and process the import

Step 3: Tenant Migration Communication CasaPay will automatically:

  • Send explanation email to each tenant about the new system

  • Schedule individual calls to explain guarantee benefits

  • Guide tenants through CasaPay ID assessment

  • Handle questions about security deposit transition

Handling Existing Security Deposits

Option 1: Deposit Refund + CasaPay Guarantee

  • Refund current security deposits to tenants

  • Replace with CasaPay guarantee system

  • Higher coverage limits than original deposits
