CasaPay Share is a feature that lets you share a CasaPay payment request or invoice with the people who are helping you pay it. Whether you’re splitting rent with a co-tenant, asking a parent to cover part of the move-in cost, or giving a trusted person visibility of a household bill, Share lets you send a clear, tailored request without opening up your whole CasaPay account. Each person sees what they need to — their contribution, the reference, and the due date — and nothing more.
CasaPay Share is a feature preview and is not yet available. Live availability, supported invoice types, payment methods, and any applicable fees are still to be confirmed.

Common use cases

Co-Tenants

Divide a rent request or household invoice equally, or set different contribution amounts to match your arrangement. Everyone sees their share alongside the original bill.

Parents & Family

Let a parent or trusted person see the exact request and the amount you’re asking them to cover — without needing to explain the full tenancy setup.

Partial Contributions

Ask someone to cover a specific portion of a bill — a one-off contribution, a monthly input, or a move-in cost — while the remainder stays clearly assigned to you.

How CasaPay Share works

Open your bill

Start with an eligible payment request or invoice in your CasaPay account. The amount, reference, and due date are all kept together so you share accurate information.

Choose their part

Decide how much you want the other person to contribute — part of the bill or all of it. You stay in control of what’s requested and what remains yours to pay.

Review and share

Check the details your contributor will see before you send. Then share the request through your usual conversation — a message, email, or however you normally communicate.

Follow the payment

See confirmed contributions tracked against the original bill inside CasaPay. You’ll always know what’s been paid and what still needs to be settled.

What gets shared

When you share a request through CasaPay Share, your contributor sees the specific details needed to make their payment. They don’t get access to your broader account. Shared with your contributor:
  • Bill purpose (e.g. monthly rent, move-in invoice)
  • Original bill amount
  • Payment reference
  • Due date
  • Their requested contribution amount
  • Your remaining contribution (so the numbers add up)
Not shared with your contributor:
  • Your other invoices or payment history
  • Your banking information or payment methods
  • Your wider tenant account or profile

Frequently asked questions

The sign-in and payment requirements for contributors are still being defined. These will be made clear before any live sharing feature is available. The current preview does not require the recipient to have an account.
CasaPay Share is about contributions from different people — co-tenants, family members, or anyone else helping with a bill. CasaPay Split is about paying your rent across two dates — a single tenant repaying in two instalments. They solve different problems: Share is for shared costs, Split is for timing flexibility.
Both options are available. You can ask a contributor to cover a specific portion of the bill, or send the full amount for them to pay entirely. You choose the split before sharing, and the details are always visible to both sides before any payment is made.
