# CasaPay Split: Spread Monthly Rent Over Two Payments

> CasaPay Split is a product preview letting eligible tenants divide monthly rent into two payments while the landlord receives the full amount on time.

CasaPay Split is a proposed rent-payment service designed to give eligible tenants a little more breathing room each month. Instead of paying your full rent in one go, Split lets you divide it into two payments across the month — while your landlord still receives the complete amount on the original due date. The repayment schedule is between you and CasaPay Split, so your landlord relationship stays straightforward and your home is protected.

<Warning>
  CasaPay Split is a product preview and is not yet available. Launch markets, eligibility, pricing, and repayment terms are still being confirmed. This page describes the intended service, not a live product.

## How CasaPay Split would work

<Steps>
  <Step title="Check your options">
    When CasaPay Split launches, add your rental details and review availability for your home and location. Eligibility will depend on your rental, market, and the final product terms.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review your split">
    See the two payment amounts, the repayment dates, any applicable fees, and the full terms. Choose a split only if it works for your situation — nothing is confirmed until you accept.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Rent gets paid in full on the due date">
    Make your first payment. Under an approved plan, your landlord receives the full monthly rent on the original due date — one payment, on time, as expected.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Make your second payment on the agreed date">
    Your second payment is due on the date agreed in your plan. Your full repayment schedule stays visible in one place inside CasaPay, so you always know what's coming.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## How Split protects your landlord relationship

One of the key principles behind CasaPay Split is that your landlord's experience doesn't change. They receive one full rent payment on the due date — not two partial payments, and not a delayed payment. The arrangement to repay in two instalments is entirely between you and CasaPay Split.

This means your landlord has no reason to view your payment behaviour as anything other than on-time and in-full. The flexibility is yours; the reliability stays intact for both sides.

<Note>
  Before you commit to any Split plan, both payment amounts, all repayment dates, and any applicable fees will be shown to you clearly upfront. You'll never be asked to accept a plan without knowing exactly what you're agreeing to.
