# CasaPay Guarantee: Get Paid for Eligible Unpaid Rent

> Add Cover or On-time to any eligible RentLink and get paid for qualifying unpaid rent — up to your agreed cover limit, with no separate claims process.

CasaPay Guarantee is an optional add-on for RentLink that provides cover for eligible unpaid rent up to an agreed limit. It does not live in a separate system or require a separate claims process — the guarantee stays connected to the rent request itself, so payment status, reminders, and evidence are all in the same place. If eligible rent remains unpaid, CasaPay pays you under your chosen plan and recovers the amount from the tenant.

## Choose your plan

Both plans include one month of guarantee cover, with higher cover available. The difference is payout timing and price.

## How it works

    During your RentLink setup, agree the eligible tenancy, cover limit, and plan — Cover or On-time. The guarantee is attached directly to the rent request, not managed separately.

  <Step title="Request rent through CasaPay">
    Send the RentLink as normal. Payment status, automated reminders, and any dispute evidence stay connected to the request throughout the collection window.

  <Step title="CasaPay pays and recovers">
    If eligible rent remains unpaid at the end of the applicable window, CasaPay pays you under your chosen plan — up to your agreed cover limit — and then recovers the outstanding amount from the tenant directly.

  Guarantee is not insurance and is not debt forgiveness. The tenant remains liable for the rent. CasaPay pays on your behalf and recovers from the tenant — the obligation is not cancelled.

## Frequently asked questions

    No. CasaPay reviews the evidence before making any payout decision. Charges that are upheld in the tenant's favour following a dispute are not paid under the Guarantee.

  <Accordion title="What is the difference between Cover and On-time?">
    Both plans cover eligible unpaid rent up to your agreed limit and include one month of cover. The key difference is payout timing: Cover pays at due date + 30 days; On-time pays at due date + 1 day. On-time costs more, starting from 2.5% of rent moved versus 1.5% for Cover.

  <Accordion title="Is Guarantee available for all tenants and homes?">
    No. Eligibility, cover limits, and applicable terms depend on the tenant, property, market, and your approved CasaPay setup. Not every tenancy or home will qualify.

    Yes. Higher cover is available subject to agreement. Speak to CasaPay to discuss the cover levels available for your portfolio.

    No. On-time concerns rent that is currently due and remains unpaid at the payout trigger point. Rent in advance — covering future rent obligations — is a separate concept and is listed as coming soon on CasaPay.
