# CasaPay AI Agents: RentLink MCP Integration Preview

> Explore how CasaPay is bringing RentLink rent requests and payment status into AI workspaces via the Model Context Protocol — currently a product preview.

CasaPay is exploring how RentLink can meet operators where they increasingly work: inside AI assistants. The idea is straightforward — rather than switching between your AI workspace and the CasaPay dashboard to create a payment request or check whether rent has been paid, those workflows could live directly in the AI tools you already use. This is an early-stage exploration, and nothing described here is confirmed or live.

## What is MCP?

MCP stands for the **Model Context Protocol** — an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external tools, data sources, and services. Instead of an AI assistant being limited to what it was trained on, MCP lets it call out to live systems and take actions on your behalf.

CasaPay is exploring an MCP connection that would let a supported AI agent interact with RentLink directly — creating payment requests, checking payment status, and retrieving reconciliation context — without you needing to leave your AI workspace. This would work alongside existing AI assistant integrations (referred to as Plugins for some platforms) as part of the broader CasaPay Connect channel.

## What would be possible

If a CasaPay MCP connection is confirmed and made available, the kinds of workflows being explored include:

## Current status

RentLink for AI agents is in a product preview and exploration phase. CasaPay is actively investigating MCP as a connection route, but no technical implementation is confirmed, no API endpoints or schemas have been published, and no launch timeline has been set.
